Hello everyone! Hope you’re having a nice weekend!

Today I want to share a couple of cards I made using some goodies from Penny Black’s Love & Happiness and Daydream release.

For the first card I used cute bear friends image called Rain or Shine (30-791).

I stamped the image in Black Memento ink on Neenah solar white cardstock and colored it with Copic markers.

I colored the left bear in E10s and E90s and the right bear in E30s. The umbrella was colored in bright pink (RV). I masked the umbrella and both sides of the panel and ink blended the sky in Spun Sugar, Picked Raspberry and Salty Ocean DI and splattered white ink on it. For the ground I ink blended Hickory Smoke very lightly.

I adhered the panel on a white cardbase and added the vellum strip with the white heat embossed sentiment from Smiles (30-802) stamp set on the bottom of it.

I also cut a white panel with the largest die from Sewing Stackers die set (51-651), cut two long stripes from it and foam mounted them on both sides of the card. I scattered some clear sequins as rain drops and the card was finished!

The second card is showcasing the pretty sping-y image from …Spring Day! stamp set (30-805).

I stamped the image in Antique Linen DI and colored the image using Karin brush markers. I watercolored the background and also ink blended a bit of Salty Ocean DI on the top edge of the panel.

I cut the center of the panel with a die from Sewing Stackers die set (51-651) and adhered the frame I got from the cut flat on a white cardbase. I white heat embossed the sentiment from the same stamp set on the center panel, matted it with a yellow panel slightly larger than that and foam mounted it on the card. To finish off I scattered some clear iridescent sequins.

I hope you have Spring weather where you are ! Here it seems like Spring is taking a break on its way 🙂 !

Thank you so much for looking! Have a crafty weekend!

  1. Gorgeous and cute at the same time! Your painting skills are brilliant, your eye for colors is on point, and your care with details perfect!

  2. What beautiful designs TaeEun and I adore them both. I love the cute bears under their shared umbrella and the interesting background with the pink and blue blended inks starting at umbrella height looks great. The pretty flowers and eggs on the second are so brilliantly coloured too and love the rectangle you cut from it with an added mat and love the ornate edge which I see has also been used on the background to the left and right of the image mat on the first. x
