Hi again!
I’m popping in to share my DT card for the new Seize the Birthday challenge. I chose the Toppings option for the next fortnight and it is SPRING FLOWERS 🌸 !

My Spring flowers are cherry blossoms ! I used Flying Colors (40-739) cling stamp set by Penny Black.

I stamped the floral branch image on a Canson watercolor paper panel. I used Tombow brush markers to add colors to the stamp. I spritzed clear water on the stamp and pressed it on the panel. I colored the tip of the petals in darker pink and the center of the flowers in soft pink.

The hummingbird was stamped on a separate watercolor paper. I clear heat embossed the humming bird to add shine and fussy cut it. Actually I don’t know if the hummingbirds would come to cherry blossoms 🙂 . But I thought they would look pretty together.

As the colored panel looked a bit empty to me, I ink blended the top part of it in pink and cut it using a die from Sewing Stackers die set (51-651). The sentiment from Beautiful Heart set (30-550) was heat embossed in gold on the panel before it was foam mounted on a white cardbase. I added the humming bird to the card using foam tape and the card was done!

Stunning! So beautiful!
Cherry blossoms – the epitome of spring! These are gorgeous, and I love the hummingbird, too. So pretty and delicate.
Such a beautiful card and I love the cherry blossom which always lets us know that spring is here, and the hummingbird is gorgeous too. A soft and pretty look to the blossom with some more vibrabt colour on the bird which looks great. x
Cherry blossoms are the best example of spring flowers. I can almost smell them. Beautiful card!
