Hi everyone! Hope you’re all doing well 🙂 !
Today I have a pretty spring-y card to share with you. It had been so nice here for several weeks and suddenly Winter came back with snow storm!!! I hope my plants outside wouldn’t mind this cold break😅 .
As you know I love to color Penny Black’s pretty floral stamps. Sweet Centerpiece (40-727) is no exception. It’s a new cling stamp from Daydream release with a beautiful bouquet in a vase and a sweet butterfly.
I stamped the Sweet Centerpiece (40-727) in Versafine Onyx black ink on a watercolor paper panel and watercolored it using Karin brush markers. I watercolored the background only on the bottom area in light blue and ink blended the area in Wilted Violet, Mermaid Lagoon and Salty Ocean DIs. I splattered white opaque ink on the whole panel and let it dry.
I cut “HELLO” from the bottom part of the colored panel using the die from Thanks & Hello die set (51-638). I cut the word four more times from some white cardstock, layered them all and adhered the word from the colored panel on top.
I adhered the colored panel on a white cardbase and inlaid the letters onto their places. For some shine I coated the letters with Shimmer Pico Embellisher. I rounded the corners and added some clear iridescent sequins to finish off the card.
I’m entering this card into Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge : Anything Goes.
Thank you for looking! Hope you enjoyed it!
Hugs,
TaeEun
