Happy Friday everyone!

I have a simple watercolored floral card to share with you today. I’ve been exploring my watercolors lately and this card is one of the results 🙂 .

I chose Miss Your Smile set to color because of the large blooms. It’s great for practicing watercoloring!

I stamped the image in Peach Fuzz to achieve no line coloring look. I colored the flowers in purple, coral and yellow-orange. I added a bit of light orange to the coral flower and buds. This is a way to give the flower a coral finish if it looks a bit too pink. Miss Your Smile is a stamp set for slimline so I drew the tip of one leaf that is not illustrated in the stamp set.

After the coloring was done I stamped the sentiment from the same stamp set in Detail Black and clear heat embossed it. I cut the panel with the Ornate Banner die and foam mounted it on a cardbase in light orange. The yummy enamel dots from Happy Blooms collection were perfect for my flowers!

  1. Brilliant watercolouring TaeEun and love that PI stamp and sentiment, and the Ornate Banner die you used to cut it for the topper looks so pretty over the bright mustard yellow card. x

  2. Beautiful card!!!!! I love all of your card creations. I was wondering what water coloring set you used for this one. Thank you for sharing.
