Hello everyone!

It’s time for a new Flower Challenge! The theme for May is Use Your Favorite Flower !

For my DT card I used Noteworthy Blooms stamp set by The Ton. This floral cluster has some of my favorite flowers: peony, anemone and cosmos flowers. Roses are beautiful but I don’t like that they have thorns 😁.

I stamped the image in Antique Linen DI for no line coloring and colored the image with Mijello Mission Gold watercolors. Actually I wanted to try the style of the traditional botanical illustration but totally failed as you can see 🙂 . Definitely need more practice!
After the coloring was done and dry I cut it using the coordinating die.

To create the background panel I started by ink blending a white cardstock in Peach BlossomHollywood StarLemon Drop and Soft Garden and cut it using the Quilted coverplate A2 die (The Ton). I adhered the background panel on a white cardbase and foam mounted the floral cluster on it.

The sentiment was cut using the Script Word Dies bundle (The Ton). I cut the shadow layer from white cardstock and the sentiment from a cardstock which I ink blend in Deep Peony and Bubblegum to make it a pink ombre sentiment.

After I added the die cut sentiment to the card I covered the word with shimmer Pico Embellisher.

That’s it from me! Please hop over to The Flower Challenge blog to get more inspiration from our guest designer Bozena from Artcardbox and my team mates!

I’d be happy to see your creations in the gallery!

Have a wonderful day!
