Hello and Happy Monday everyone!

Last week I’ve made more cards using some items from Delight Release by Penny Black! If you missed my previous post showcasing two cling stamps from Delight Release please click here!

For today’s cards I used the critter cuties from Fragrant Friends (30-807) and Cuddlesome (30-814) stamp sets.

The first one is featuring the cute bear from Fragrant Friends (30-807) set sitting on a branch with a bunch of flowers ! To give some texture to the background I used the Triangles die set (51-647).

ffbear-1-2

I stamped the bear image in Antique Linen DI on a Bristol Smooth paper and colored it using Zig and Karin markers. After I finished coloring I cut it using the coordinating Cut Out (51-704) and set it aside.

ffbear-4-2

Before I detached the Triangle dies (51-647) from the set I cut bunch of white triangle frames to get the actual thin triangles and the thicker triangles that I used for this card. I adhered five triangles in various sizes on a white cardbase as shown in the picture and ink blended the bottom area of the cardfront in Twisted Citron and Lucky Clover DI. Next I foam mounted the bear image on the card, drew the eyes and nose of the bear with a black fine liner and added glitter to the center of the flowers using yellow Stickles.

I white heat embossed the sentiment from the Fragrant Friends (30-807) set on a piece gray cardstock and foam mounted it on the card. As I wanted some butterflies for the flowers I cut the Butterfly String (51-648) from a scrap of watercolor paper, cut the single butterflies and watercolored them in yellow. I embellished the body of the butterflies with some yellow gems to finish off the card.

Next card is showing the cat from the Fragrant Friends (30-807) set that is holding a daisy flower. To add more daisies to my card I also used the Daisy Delight die (51-676).

ff-cat-1-2

The cat was stamped in Antique Linen DI and colored using Karin markers. I cut it with the coordinating Cut Out (51-704) and set it aside.

ff-cat-4-2

To create the green background I watercolored a Mixed Media paper panel in green and a bit in yellow using a flat brush. I adhered the background on a white cardbase and added the cat using some foam tape.

I cut two white borders with the daisies using Daisy Delight die (51-676). One of them was adhered directly on the right side of the card front, a bit higher than the second layer of the border which was foam mounted. I cut one daisy from the second layer and adhered it on the bottom of the card to fill the gap.

The sentiment from the same stamp set was stamped on the white border in black. I used a yellow butterfly I cut for the first card to add some yellow element to the card 🙂 !

The last card for today is featuring the cute bear from the Cuddlesome (30-814) set. For the background I used the Contemporary (40-722) cling stamp,

cs-bear-1-2

I stamped the image in Onyx Black ink on a Bristol smooth paper. After the ink was dry I started coloring the cutie on a stack of cups in bright colors using Zig and Karin markers. The image was then fussy cut and set ready.

cs-bear-4-2

For the background I white heat embossed the Contemporary (40-722) on a watercolor paper. I watercolored the center of the panel in the same colors like the cups. I used Ecoline liquid watercolors in light yellow, pastel red and pastel blue.

cs-bear-2-2

I mounted the background panel flat on a cardbase, foam mounted the image on the center of it and added the black sentiment strip.

To finish off I scattered a few clear iridescent sequins.
