I made two cards for today!
For the first card I used the Tina’s Garden A2 Card digital stamp.
I printed the image on Canson watercolor paper in black and watercolored the coneflowers in yellow, orange and pink. I added several layers of watercolor to add depth and dimension.
After the coloring was done I ink blended about two thirds of the panel (from the bottom) in Lemon Drop. I then cut the panel into three pieces using three dies from the Double Pierced Rectangle die set by The Ton.
I adhered the center and outer pieces flat on a white cardbase and foam mounted the middle one . I cut the sentiment three times from some black cardstock using Script Word die (The Ton). I cut one more sentiment from black glossy cardstock to add to the top of the stack of the die cut sentiment. I cut the base layer from some vellum.
I finished off the card with some Glossy Black sequins.
For the second card I used the Night Garden A2 cut panel cutting file.
I cut the Night Garden from some textured aubergine cardstock. I then watercolored a Canson Mixed Media panel using the cut panel as my reference. So I colored the area where the flowers are in pink or yellow and the area where the leaves would be in green.
After the watercolored panel was dry I mounted it on a pink cardbase and foam mounted the Night Garden panel on it.
I cut the sentiment four times from some white cardstok using the Script Word die, stacked them together and added it to the card. To finish off I adhered some rhinestones on the center of the flowers and splattered white ink on the card.
Thank you so much for stopping by! Happy hopping!
