Hello and Happy Monday, everyone! Hope your week is off to a great start 🙂 !

Today I have an airy card to share with you which I made for the Pinkfresh Studio July Challenge. The theme for this challenge is Butterflies and as you can see on the challenge graphic there is a light spring-y color palette for you to play with.

For this card I used the new Daisy Wreath hot foil plate that Pinkfresh Studio released for the Daisy Wreath Layering Stencil set.

I hot foiled the Daisy Wreath in gold and stenciled it using the Layering stencil set in the colors I picked from the color palette. I stenciled the large daisies in Ballet Slipper and Coral Reef, the small flowers in Sunshine and Apricot and the leaves in Ocean Breeze and Aquamarine.

I die cut the Daisy Wreath using the coordinating die and set it aside.

To create the background I started by ink blending the upper and bottom edge of an A2 sized white panel in Ocean Breeze. I then cut a circle from the center of the panel using a die of the Folk Edge Circle die set and cut the negative piece with the Stitches die.

I stamped the sentiment from Thankful for Friends stamp set on the circle panel in Detail black and mounted the background panel with the circle piece flat on a white cardbase.

I then foam mounted the Daisy Wreath on the center of the card.

The Small Butterflies were hot foiled in Turquoise on vellum and stenciled in Sunshine, Apricot, Ocean Breeze and Aquamarine. I cut them with the coordinating die and added three of them to the card with transparent foam tape.

I finished off the card with a few Sky Blue Jewels.

  1. This layered stencil is beautiful TaeEun and love the hot foil outlines in gold and the wonderfully coloured butterflies too. The coordinating background ink blending is beautiful..so fresh and pretty. x
