Hello everyone!

It’s time for the July challenge at The Flower Challenge! Can you believe that the half of this year is already flown away ?! Time goes so fast!

The theme for this challenge is Add Spots or Stripes to your floral project!

I used some watercolored floral clusters I finished using Lemons and Blueberries stamp set by Pinkfresh Studio. It’s the coordinating stamp set for a new washi tape with the same name.

I stamped the images in Peach Fuzz, watercolored and cut them using the coordinating die. I found some stripes in light green, orange and pink from my stash. I wove three vertical stripes and three horizontal stripes, fixed them with glue and foam mounted them on a mini slimline cardbase I prepared.

The center of the cardbase was ink blended in Fresh Pear and Sunshine and I added yellow, green and white splatters on it. The sentiment from the same stamp set was stamped in Detail Black on the cardbase.

Next I arranged the floral clusters on the stripes with foam tape along with some white Leafy Branches.

To finish off I added some yellow and green Crystals.

That was my DT card ! And now it’s your turn to play along!

  1. Love it when you put your heart [and stripes] onto those lemons and berries, TaeEun – looks like I could pick enough for my Lemon Blueberry Scones!

  2. Oh TaeEun, what a gorgeous arrangement of delicious fruits, beautifully colored as always.
I always love your sponged backgrounds and, those stripes of paper look like they are intertwined right where they cross, right? Simply amazing.
    Fabulous card, teammate.
    Stay healthy and safe.

  3. Adding strips of paper was a great way to include stripes on your card, TaeEun. They make a great background for your beautifully colored flowers and lemons.
