I made three cards to celebrate the new release!

The first card is featuring Charming Cosmos and Multi Monsteras grouped layering stamp sets.

cc-1-2

From the Charming Cosmos set I used the outline cosmos images. They were stamped in black and watercolored in pink and orange-yellow. I fussy cut the flowers and set them aside. Of course you can use the coordinating die to cut the images!

cc-4-2

Next I stamped the Multi Monsteras in two green shades. The darker ones were stamped in Bright. Fern, Basil Mojito and Everglade Moss and the light ones in Soft Garden, Bright Fern and Deep Emerald.

cc-cu2-2

I watercolored a watercolor paper panel in soft pink and bright yellow and let it dry. I then cut the panel using Quilted A2 die and adhered it on a white cardbase.

The bold sentiment is also from the Charming Cosmos set. First I stamped it on a white cardstock in Noir and cut it with a die from the Scalloped Nested A2 die set. I then stamped the sentiment on the arranged cosmos flowers again in Noir.

Now I assembled the card together. I adhered the Monstera leaves on the background and foam mounted the sentiment panel on the center of the card. Next I added the flowers to the card using foam tape as planned. To add some shine I scattered some Glass Slippers Round Confetti sequins on the card.

cc-3-2

The second card. is showcasing the Cosmos Border stamp. I cut off the center part of the image and made it into a shaker card. The previously released Floral Border die works for this stamp as well, if you have the die!

As the stamp didn’t arrive in time I used the digital version and printed it in black on Canson watercolor paper. I watercolored the image and cut off the center using the Floral Border die. I cut two pieces of white fun foam using the same die to make the shaker wall.

I cut the colored panel with the largest Double Pierced Nested A2 die and assembled the shaker part.

I ink blended the cardbase in Lemon Drop, Soft Garnet and Coralline hybrid ink lightly and splattered orange and white ink on it. After the cardbase was dry I placed the flower sequins from Rosy Petals, Kiwi Smoothie, Pink Blossoms and Violet Sprinkle Couture Mixes as shaker element and finished the shaker card. The white heat embossed sentiment is from Multi Monsteras stamp set.

The last card for today is featuring the new pop-up design, Majestic Monarchs coordinating stamp and Pop Up die set.

For the card front I used the Monarch Butterfly Coverplate die. I ink blended a piece of yellow cardstock in Lemon Drop and Coralline hybrid ink in orange-yellow ombre and cut the Monarch Butterfly Coverplate from it. I foam mounted it on a yellow cardbase.

mm-4-2

I cut “sending” four times from some white cardstock using Many Sentiments Coverplate die. I colored one of them in yellow using Copic marker and stacked them all for some dimension. The shadow layer was cut from some vellum. The “happy thoughts” is from the Majestic Monarchs coordinating stamp set. The card front was finished with a few Glossy Black sequins.

To created the pop-up inside. I stamped the clusters of the butterflies of the Majestic Monarchs coordinating stamp set in Noir and cut them all using the Pop-Up dies. I then colored the butterflies in yellow and orange using Polychromos colored pencils.

I assembled the pop up mechanism together with the help of Effie’s Tutorial video. It may look complicated but actually it was so easy to bring all the elements together !

I adhered the Majestic Monarchs pop-up part in the inside of the card!
