Hello everyone!

Today I have four holiday cards to share with you! I made them using some holiday stamps and dies from Making Spirits Bright Release by Penny Black.

The first two cards are slimline cards. The Making Spirits Bright collection has two slimline die sets : Spirited (51-721) and Slimline Medley (51-718). The winter themed border dies from the Spirited (51-721) set are so versatile! You can use it for cards in any size and you can use the negative piece for another project ! I also used for both cards the slimline die with the deckled edge from Slimline Medley (51-718) set.

For the first card I used the pine branch border die from the Spirited (51-721) set along with the festive cluster of the Beautify (40-801) cling stamp. The sentiment is from Season to Believe (30-868) set.

I started by stamping the Beautify (40-801) on watercolor paper using Tombow brush pens. I scribbled the cling stamp with a pen in the color I wanted, spritzed clean water on it and stamped. After stamping I drew the fine pine leaves again with gold watercolor to add more shine to the image. After the panel was dry I fussy cut the image and set it aside.

I cut two slimline sized panels using the deckled edge die from the Slimline Medley (51-718) set. On one of them I gold heat embossed the Beautify (40-801) and the sentiment from Season to Believe (30-868) set as shown. Next I cut the other one using the border die with the pine leaves from Spirited (51-721) set. I ink blended the left edge of it in Bright Emerald and Hot Tourmaline (The Ton).

I foam mounted the gold heat embossed panel on a white slimline cardbase and the ink blended piece on it. I then added the Beautify image to the card. To finish off I adhered two red rhinestones on the center of the festive cluster.

For the second card I used the negative piece I got after I cut the front panel of the first card with the pine branch border die.

I cut one more white panel using the slimline deckled edge die from the Slimline Medley (51-718) set and ink blended it in dark green using Meadow and Everglade Moss ink by The Ton. I splattered white ink on it and let it dry.

I stamped the sentiment from the Happy & Bright set (30-873) in Everglade Moss on the white negative die cut panel and clear heat embossed it. I adhered the ink blended panel on a white slimline cardbase and foam mounted the front panel with the sentiment on it.

This card was quick and simple to make yet with an awesome festive effect thanks to the slimline dies!

Next card is showcasing the Seasonal Skater (40-805) cling stamp.

ss-1-2

I stamped the image in a black pigment ink on a watercolor paper panel. I sprinkled gold embossing powder on the sentiment and clear EP on the other part of the image and heat set it.

ss-5-2

I then watercolored the image loosely without paying attention to the details that much. After the panel was dry I added a bit of sparkle on the hat, gloves and the skirt using Crystal Stickles. Before I adhered the panel on a red cardbase I ink blended the bottom end of the panel in red using Festive Berries and Fired Brick DI and splattered white ink on the whole panel.

The last card for today is a bit larger than A2 size. The Winter Blooms (40-803) image is large and I wanted to make it fit as whole in my card. This card measures 4.625″ x 5.625 “.

I gold heat embossed the Winter Blooms (40-803) on some watercolor paper and watercolored the pretty blooms in pink, purple, aqua and gold. I also watercolored the background in gold.

wb-6-2

After the panel was dry I stamped the sentiment from the Happy & Bright (30-873) set on it in a black pigment ink and clear heat embossed. it.

I adhered the panel on a cardbase and filled the berries with white Pico embellisher.
