Hello everyone!

It’s time for the last challenge of this year at Seize the Birthday! Our last host of this year is Lindsey and she wants us to show some hobbies and pastimes in our birthday projects.

I’m not an active person who does lots of outside activities in free time. I enjoy rather some quiet moments in my craft room 🙂 . But when I saw the topping for this challenge a stamp set by The Ton popped in my mind and I thought it would fit perfectly for this topping. It has a tandem bike and a lovely pair. The stamp set is called City Girls : Special Day.

I started by stamping the bicycle frame in Bright Emerald and silver heat embossing the wheels, handles and basket which are in one stamp. I cut the tandem bike with the coordinating die.

The pair was stamped in black, watercolored with Zig markers and cut using the coordinating die. I carefully cut the line between their legs and let them sit on the saddles.

I created the background directly on a white cardbase. I ink blended the bottom part in green and added some clouds to the sky. Then I drew the ground and grasses with a black fine liner.

The heart shaped balloon is also in the same set. I stamped it in Lemon Drop, Arctic Sky, Peach Blossom, Bubblegum, Soft Garden and Soft Amethyst and cut the balloons with the coordinating die.

I drew the strings for the balloons on the cardbase and mounted the bike with the pair and the balloons on the card using foam tape.

The sentiment banner from the same set was silver heat embossed. I stamped the sentiment in Noir and cut with the coordinating die.

So that was my last card for Seize the Birthday this year. And I have to say that it is also my last card as a DT member. I decided to step down from the team to have more time for my kids. I have been so blessed to be in the Seize the Birthday team with the amazing, lovely and super talented ladies 💗! Of course I’ll follow the challenge in the future and am so looking forward to seeing what my team mates and you all are going to create to celebrate Birthdays next year !

Thank you so much for your love and support !

Seize the Birthday will have a little break and come back in January 2022 !

Wishing you all a blessed time in December! And don’t forget to play along with us at our last challenge of the year 😉!

Hugs,

TaeEun
