Holiday Magic– Pinkfresh Studio December 2021 Challenge

Hello everyone! Hope your week is off to a great start!

Today I have a holiday card to share with you. Pinkfresh Studio December Challenge is all about Holiday! You have still time to enter, as the challenge ends on December 28th.

Below is the challenge graphic with some inspiration projects and color palette. The color palette is picked from the Holiday Magic collection. For my card I used the Ephemera pack, Chipboard Frames and Enamel Dots from the collection.

I wanted to use the square chipboard frame of the Holiday Magic collection, as it was so eye-catching. When I looked through the Ephemera and the frames I noticed that the lining of the package has thin diagonal stripes in the same color scheme. It looked perfect for me as a backdrop for the square frame with thicker stripes.

I cut the paper with the largest die from the Folk Edge Rectangles die set. I ink blended the center of the panel in Candy Apple and splattered red watercolor on it. I adhered the panel on a white cardbase and added the square frame to it.

I picked the envelope and the sentiment from the Ephemera pack and foam mounted them on the square frame. To add more festive feel to the card I used a small floral cluster from Poinsettia set which I had in the stash. The red and orange poinsettias were stenciled in Berrylicious, Clementine and Candy Apple and the greenery in Grassy Knoll and Olive. Three red Enamel Dots were my finishing touch.
