Hello and welcome to Pinkfresh Studio Happy Heart/Life Right Now Collections Release Blog Hop !

If you arrived here from Susi Becerra Jimenez’s Blog, you’re right on track. If not, please head on over to Pinkfresh Studio Scrapbook blog to get all the information about the full release and to start the blog hop!

Pinkfresh Studio has recently released two scrapbook collections, Happy Heart and Life Right Now!!! The Happy Heart collection is whimsical and dreamy with many floral elements and the Life Right Now collection is on the modern, geometric and colorful side.

My pick was Happy Heart 🙂 ! I made four cards using the 6 x 6 paper pack and Floral Ephemera from the Happy Heart collection. I’m sharing a pair of them today and will show you the rest tomorrow on the Instagram hop!

The floral elements of the Happy Heart Collection has two different looks. Some of them have the doodled look drawn in pen strokes and others are in a loose watercoloring style. For today’s cards I used a patterned paper and floral ephemera in the doodle style.

For this card I picked an all over floral patterned paper and a simple green leafy patterned paper from the Happy Heart 6×6 Paper Pack. The base panel was cut with the Blanket Stitched Rectangle die and the floral paper with the small Blanket Stitched Oval die. I also cut a white oval panel using the large Blanket Stitched Oval die.

The base panel was mounted on a white cardbase and the oval panels using foam tape on it. I stamped the sentiment from the Lily Frame stamp set on the white oval panel in Detail Black aligning it to the curvy edge. I then added white Artistic Blossoms on the top of the oval panels. The gold heat embossed “thanks” is also from the Lily Frame set. I finished off the card with Gold Metallic Pearls.

I used the floral patterned paper for the next card which was left after I cut the oval panel for the first card.

To start I cut the floral panel using the Diagonal Stitched Rectangles die and foam mounted it on a white cardbase. I cut an oval panel from some vellum and adhered it on the floral panel and added a small white oval panel with the sentiment from Always Uplifting set using foam tape. I used the Blanket Stitched Oval die to cut the oval elements.

The floral cluster was created with some flowers from the Happy Heart Floral Ephemera set. I tucked some white Curvy Leaves under the flowers to add more white elements to the card. The butterfly was fussy cut from a patterned paper of the 6×6 paper pack. I finished off the card with a few Glacier Jewels.
