Hello and welcome to Pinkfresh Studio March 2022 Washi, Stamp, Die, Stencil, and Hot Foil Release Blog Hop!!!

If you arrived here from my amazing team mate Raquel Arribas’ Blog, you’re right on track. If not, please head on over to Pinkfresh Studio Card blog to get all the information about the full release and to start the blog hop!

It’s release day at Pinkfresh Studio – four beautiful Floral washi tapes with its coordinating stamp, die and layering stencils are debuting today! The Sunflowers Washi tape and its coordinating items have been released a bit earlier for a good cause. The 100% net profits from the Sunflowers suite from the month of March will be donated to Save the children organization. The Sunflowers stamp and Layering Stencil sets are still available, if you haven’t gotten a chance to purchase them already!

Along with the washi tape suites Pinkfresh Studio is releasing Nested Circles, Diamonds and Hexagons die and Hot foil sets which you could use to create some cool backgrounds for the flowers!

I made two cards using Dahlia Washi and Hibiscus Washi stamp, stencil and die sets.

The first card is showcasing the Dahlia Washi stamp, layering stencil and die sets. The washi tape is beautiful but I also like to give my own colors to the flowers :)!

I started off by heat embossing the Dahlia stamp images in gold on Neenah solar white cardstock. I then colored the flowers using the layering stencils. I chose a warm, neutral and soft color scheme for this card. I stenciled the first layer of the flowers in Peach Fuzz and the second layer in Coral Reef and Apricot. For the small pink flowers I used Sparkling Rose. The leaves were stenciled in Warm Buff and Doe. After stenciling I cut them all using the coordinating die and set them aside.

To create the pattern in the background I hot foiled first the three small circles on a white panel in gold using the Nested Circles Hot Foil plates. After that I hot foiled the largest one.

The panel was then cut with the Diagonal Stitched Rectangles die and foam mounted on a beige cardbase.

I picked three floral images and foam mounted them on the small circles as shown in the picture. Underneath the largest one I added some white and golden branches which were cut using the Leafy Branch die.

The sentiment from the Dahlia Washi stamp set was gold heat embossed on a piece of vellum. I cut it in a banner, heat embossed the right end in gold and added it to the card. I finished off the card with a few Metallic Gold Pearls.

My next card is featuring the Hibiscus Washi stamp and die set. I did no line coloring on the gorgeous hibiscus clusters !

I stamped the Hibiscus washi images on watercolor paper in Peach Fuzz and watercolored them. After a few hours of therapeutic watercoloring I was happy with the result and said it’s done :). The images were cut using the coordinating die and set aside.

To make the flowers pop I decided for a soft background. I chose a panel of pale pink cardstock and hot foiled the largest Hexagon from the Nested Hexagons Hot foil plate set on the center of the panel in rose gold. I then cut the hexagon using the Nested Hexagons die.

Next I cut the negative piece with the Daisy Chain coverplate die and adhered it on a white cardbase.

The sentiment from the Hibiscus set was heat embossed in rose gold on the hexagon panel which was foam mounted on the card.

I arranged some watercolored hibiscus clusters on the hexagon frame and added five Sparkling Champagne Metallic Pearls to finish off the card.
