Hello and happy Friday, everyone!

It’s time for a new challenge at The Flower Challenge! The theme for this month is “USE SCRAPS”. I’m sure we all have some scraps like pieces of die cuts, unused backgrounds, sentiments or uncolored images in our stash. You can mix and match all the pieces to make a project for our challenge! Of course don’t forget to use flower(s) as main actor of your project!

I made a floral card using some of the unused pieces from my stash. All the elements of my card were waiting for being picked up and it was a very quick process to arrange them together 🙂 ! The products used here are all by Pinkfresh Studio.

The flowers are from Beautiful Blooms set. They are heat embossed in gold and colored with watercolors. This stamp set has 6 floral images in two stamps and the coordinating die cuts also three images at once. So you can get three floral branches with one working process. These one-piece stamps and dies are very handy but it remains often some leftover images. The flowers of my cards are also leftovers from one of my previous projects.

The background was stamped using the Pop Out: Nested Chevron stamp in Peach Fuzz, Sunshine, Ballet Slipper, Bubble Gum, Soft Lilac and Candy Violet. I cut the panel with the Stitched Rectangles die and foam mounted it on a white cardbase.

I added a white frame cut with the Stitched Scallop Rectangle die set to the center of the card and arranged the flowers in the frame as shown in the picture. The sentiment from Fancy Script words set was hot foiled in gold and cut with the coordinating die. To finish off I scattered some Lavender Jewels.

That’s it from me! Hope you like my card and will play along with us!
