Hello and welcome to Pinkfresh Studio April 2022 Stamp, Die, Stencil, and Hot Foil Release Blog Hop!!!

If you arrived here from my amazing team mate Raquel Arribas’ Blog, you’re right on track. If not, please head on over to Pinkfresh Studio Card blog to get all the information about the full release and to start the blog hop!

It’s release day at Pinkfresh Studio! Four beautiful floral product suites, three coverplate background dies and the Nested Stars hot foil plate and die sets are debuting today!!!

Today I’m sharing three cards which feature the Magnolia and Peony Print sets!

The first one is showcasing the Magnolia stamp, layering stencil and die sets and the Intricate Stitched Ovals coverplate die.

To start I heat embossed the Magnolia images in gold on Neenah solar white panel. The magnolias are in one stamp which can be cut using the. one piece die. I stenciled the flowers in soft pink. The first layer was ink blended in Ballet Slipper and a bit of Peach Fuzz and the second layer in Coral Reef. The leaves were stenciled in Olive and Evergreen. For the branches I used Doe and Espresso. I cut the images using the coordinating die and set them aside.

To create a dark blue background I ink blended the perimeter of an A2 sized navy cardstock in Stargazer and cut it with the Intricate Stitched Ovals coverplate die. I adhered the background panel on a navy cardbase and arranged the magnolia flowers on it as shown in the picture.

The sentiment was stenciled using a stencil from Simplest Gestures stencil set. I applied foil transfer gel through the stencil, let it dry over night and laminated it with some gold foil. I die cut it using the Simplest Gestures coordinating die and added it to the card. Lastly I scattered some Metallic Gold pearls to finish off the card.

Next two cards are showing the Peony Print product suite. I used the Peony Print Hot foil plate to create the main panel.

peony-print1-taeeun-yoo1

I hot foiled the Peony Print in gold on some watercolor paper. Next I watercolored the whole image. I colored the peony flowers in pink and orange and the leaves in teal. After the coloring was done I cut the panel with the Diagonal Stitched Rectangles die and foam mounted it on a white cardbase.

The sentiment was stenciled using a stencll from the Simplest Gestures stencil set in the same way like the sentiment for the first card. First I die cut a white cardstock using the coordinating die and stenciled the sentiment in foil transfer gel. After it was dry I laminated it with gold foil and added it to the card using some foam tape.

pp-1-2-1-2

The long sentiment is from the Simplest Gestures stamp set. Actually it is in two lines but as I wanted a long one I heat embossed the lines next to each other. I chose a dark teal cardstock for the sentiment to match it with the leaves. Also I embellished my card with a few Ocean Breeze Jewels.

pp-1-3-2

For the next card I used the negative foil left from the hot foiling of the previous card. I hot foiled a white panel using the Solid Hot Foil plate and the negative foil.

I cut the hot foiled panel vertically using one die from the Classic Edgers die set. I adhered the negative piece directly on a white cardbase and foam mounted the positive piece while adding a white layer between them.

pp-2-4-2

I gold heat embossed the Peony Print stamp on a watercolor paper and watercolored one peony in pink. I fussy cut the peony and placed it on the bottom of the card with some white Curvy Leaves.

pp-2-2-2

The sentiment from the Simplest Gestures stamp set was heat embossed in gold on a white strip. I matted it with a golden banner. I finished off the card with some Sparkling Champagne Metallic Pearls.

    1. Such gorgeous cards. Love the navy background, really makes the floral pop and your peony card is beautiful!

  3. Three fabulous cards TaeEun and my personal favourite is the first as I love the contrast between the soft pinks in the flowers and the dramatic blue emphasised with more intense blue and die cut to give a pattern too, and the gold foil sentiment and the gold pearls finish it perfectly. The next two are beautifully designed and coloured too, and I love that you used the waste from the foiled flowers for the background of the second, such a great idea, and love the ornate edge to the first topper, and the split scalloped look of the second with a fantastic contrast between the gold foil and the white and then the added pretty white leaves to go with an equally prettily coloured flower. x

  4. Your cards are so beautiful! Thank you for sharing. Using the dark background really makes the flowers pop!

  5. These are amazing, thank you! The negative foil card really shows the amazing look you can get with the leftover foil, so cool!

  6. Hi, Tae Eun –
You are amazingly talented and your work is always visually arresting! So knockout gorgeous!! My fave of the cards shared is the first one. That stunning, beautiful card is a “10.” I love the deep, dark background that really sets off the magnolia blossom. I also like the peony card a lot. Your third card, the one w/ a lot of foiling, is also lovely! Your talent is of a ridiculous level – you are tremendously gifted to be able to evoke such reactions in your fans!
