Hello everyone ! Hope you’re having a great week so far!

The theme for the month of August at the Flower Challenge is CIRCLE / CIRCLES. Add circular element(s) to your floral projects and play along !

My DT card has three hot foiled circles in the background. As the main floral I chose the small bouquet on a cake from the Celebrate in Style set by Pinkfresh Studio.

I started off by heat embossing the two-tier cake image and the bouquets from the Celebrate in Style set in gold on Neenah solar white cardstock. I then stenciled them using the coordinating layering stencils. The flowers were stenciled in Ballet Slipper and Coral Reef, the leaves in Fresh Pear and Grassy Knoll and the center of the flowers in Sunshine. The cake was stenciled in Peach Fuzz and I added darker shade using Warm Buff.

After the stenciling was done I cut them with the coordinating die. The coordinating die set has a die for a cake stand. I cut one from some white cardstock and ink blended it using the pink blend brush. I cut a scrap paper and cover the top part of the cake stand to ink blend only the side and the leg of it. I added a bit of gray ink on the top part of the leg for a 3D effect.

To create the background I hot foiled three circles in gold on some pale pink cardstock using the Nested Circles hot foil plate. After hot foiling I dry embossed the panel with the Lush Vines hot foil plate. The hot foil plates are great for dry embossing. The result with deep impression looks gorgeous!

I trimmed the panel and foam mounted it on a white cardbase. Next I added the cake stand, cake and the bouquets using foam tape as shown.

The hot foiled sentiment is from Modern Script Sentiments hot foil set. Lastly I embellished the cake stand and the cake with a few Ballet Slipper Jewels and added a bit of Crystal Stickles on the cake.
