For today’s hop I made a thank you card using the Detailed Leaf product suite and the Thank You set from this release.
I started off by doing some watercolor wash on a watercolor paper panel in yellow, orange and pink. After the panel was dry I stenciled the Detailed Leaf on left and right side of the panel. For the four stencils of the set I used Apricot, Coral Reef, Warm Buff and Peach Fuzz.
After stenciling I cut the panel with the Folk Edge Rectangles die and dry embossed the outline of the Detailed Leaf using the Detailed Leaf Hot Foil plate. Next I splattered gold watercolor on the panel and let it dry.
The Thank You was hot foiled in gold on some vellum and cut using the coordinating die. I adhered my stenciled panel on a kraft cardbase and added the sentiment to the card using some transparent foam tape. I finished off the card with a few matte gold Metallic Pearls.

Some very clever design touches here TaeEun with the really pretty edge to the panel, and the super colours you used through the stencils on the leaves, and then the dry die embossing giving the leaves some wonderful texture, and some great spattering, and finally the gorgeous gold hot foiled sentiment…a fabulous card. x
