Hello everyone! Hope you’re having a great week so far! It’s already time for a reminder post for the latest Flower Challenge with the theme DIE CUTS or STENCILS!

I used again one of the layering stencils by Pinkfresh Studio. The floral stamp is called With Sympathy. I also used the Slimline Diamond Builder Layering Stencil set and some dies for the background!

The floral image from the With Sympathy set was heat embossed in white and stenciled in soft pastel colors. For the flowers I picked my favorite ink combo : Coral Reef, Sparkling Rose, Marigold, Apricot, Passion Fruit and Soft Lilac. The leaves were stenciled in Ocean Breeze and Aquamarine. After the stenciling was done I cut the image using the coordinating die and set it aside.

To match the background with the leaves I stenciled the Slimline Diamond Builder using MintOcean Breeze and Aquamarine. I cut a piece of the stenciled panel and adhered it on a white cardbase. The front panel was first die cut using the Stitched Diamonds coverplate die. I then cut the panel with the Blanket Stitched Rectangels die and made the window using the Blanket Stitched Oval die. The die cut panel was foam mounted on the card.

Next I added the stenciled floral cluster to the card. The sentiment is from the Arch Florals stamp set. I stamped it in Detail Black, cut it using the coordinating die and foam mounted it on a small vellum heart which was cut using Shaker Heart die. I finished off the card with some Leaf Glitter Drops.

That’s it!

  1. You have a way with pastels, TaeEun – you’ve colored these florals so softly and yet they call out ‘look at me!’ and I did! Beautiful!

  2. Such a beautiful design using these fresh and pretty colours for the flowers, and the background diamond coverplate die and also the green diamond design seen through the super blanket stitched oval co-ordinate really well, and I love the super glittery green gems and a great sentiment to finish. x

  3. Your pastel flowers are so pretty, TaeEun, and what a way to show them off. The stenciled background behind that marvelous coverplate makes your card a stand out.
