Hello everyone!

I’m back with a card that I’m sharing on The Ton Layering Stencils Instagram Hop!

For today’s card I used the Lush Peonies Stencils and the coordinating die

The Lush Peonies Stencils are 6” x 6” and have huge peonies in their design. I decided to stencil the peonies in pink and purple, but of course you can color the peonies in the same color.

For the pink peonies I chose Rose Quartz, Soft Garnet and Red Sangria and for the purple ones Soft Amethyst, Iris Blooms and Violet Fringe. I wanted to color the leaves darker, so I stenciled them first in Everglade Moss and used Aspen Cocoa for the second layer.

After the stenciling was done I cut the panel with the coordinating die. This die cuts the image with a white frame.

To create a A2 sized card, I marked an outline in A2 size on the back of the stenciled panel, adhered foam tape on the marked area and attached a dark brown cardbase to it. Then I cut the excessive part of the stenciled panel.

The sentiment is from the Ribbons Affirmations stamp set. I gold heat embossed one part of the sentiment and stamped the second part in Aspen Cocoa, and die cut it using the coordinating die. The sub sentiment “YOU ARE” is also from the same stamp set. I stamped it in Dark Roast on a strip of white cardstock, matted it with some gold cardstock and added it to the card using foam tape.

To finish off I scattered a few Metallic Rose Gold Rhinestones!

  1. Beautiful stencilled peonies in pretty shades of pink and purple TaeEun, and love the darker brown background which makes them stand out really well, and a great idea to introduce a little brown on the green leaves too. x
