Hello everyone!
Have you enjoyed the reveal of the Pinkfresh Studio “Gentle Greetings & Greenery” Release yesterday and hopped along at the Blog Hop ? There are tons of inspiration and giveaways along the hop!
Today, Pinkfresh Studio is celebrating the Release with an Instagram hop. To start hopping along please visit Pinkfresh Studio Instagram account!
For my card for todays Hop, I used the Thinking of You suite. This is an organic floral design with a minimalist and naturally elegant look. I incorporated it both as the main floral image and as part of the background.
To begin, I heat embossed the Thinking of You image in Liquid Platinum and colored it using the coordinating stencil set. For the four layers of the flowers, I used Candy Violet, Lavender, Hydrangea and Opulence. The leaves were stenciled with Citron and I darkened the bases with Eucalyptus. After stenciling, I cut out the image using the coordinating die and set it aside.
To created the background, I heat embossed the Thinking of You image in white twice on a watercolor paper panel. Next, I watercolored the panel, starting with the background in Sky Blue, Seaside, and Sapphire in a block coloring style. I then lightly colored the floral images in the background with Lavender, Sapphire, Citron, and Spanish Moss (these watercolors will be released soon.).
For added interest, I cut the panel using the Blanket Stitched Brackets die. The negative piece of the panel was then cut with the Nested Rectangles Diagonal Stitch die and adhered flat onto a white cardbase. The bracket shaped piece of the background was mounted with foam tape.
Next, I attached the stenciled floral image to the card using foam tape, as shown in the picture.
The sentiment from the Thinking of You press plate was pressed in Opulence, cut with the coordinating die, and added to the card.
As a finishing touch, I added a few Gold Metallic Pearls.
Please hop along with us on Instagram. Awesome inspiration from some amazing crafters and giveaways are waiting for you!
Thank you so much for stopping by today!

I love the design with the blanket stitch edge and then the added bracket shaped blanket stitch piece over the top, and the three shades of blue blocks of colour, and the pretty added white embossed and lightly coloured spikes of flowers, look wonderful as a background to the foreground flowers, and a really lovely style of font for the ink pressed and die cut sentiment…gorgeous! x
