Hello and welcome to Pinkfresh Studio Pure Bliss Release Blog Hop !!!
If you arrived here from the Cheryl Espie’s Blog, you’re on the right track. If not, be sure to head over to the Pinkfresh Studio Blog for all the details on this gorgeous new release and to start the full blog hop!
It’s release day at Pinkfresh Studio! This collection is packed with stunning, innovative products designed to spark your creativity. I’ve created a couple of cards featuring the Fresh Florals Suite, paired with some amazing new items perfect for crafting unique backgrounds. Let’s dive in!
When I create a card, I first search for a unique color palette for my main image. For the first card today, I chose a modern color palette of black, gray, pink, light blue and violet.
To start, I stenciled the Fresh Florals in the mentioned colors. The leaves were stenciled in an ombré gray that deepens to black at the base of the branches using Rocky Slope, Licorice and Detail Black. For the pink flower, I used Ballet Slipper, Coral Reef, Sparkling Rose and Apricot. The blue flower was stenciled with Sky Blue and a hint of Hydrangea with Sweet Mustard for the center. The violet flower was stenciled with Hydrangea, with its center in Sky Blue. For the small filler branches, I used Wisteria. After stenciling I cut them with the coordinating die and set them aside.
To match my color palette, I chose a light gray cardbase and added texture by die cutting the front with the Stitched Basket Weave coverplate die.
To give the floral arrangement a bright contrast, I cut a white oval panel using the Nested Ovals: Double Stitch die set and foam mounted it onto the gray cardbase.
Next, I arranged the flowers and branches as shown in the picture, using foam tape for some of the elements. The sentiment, from the You are my Rainbow stamp set (also from this release), was stamped in Detail Black, die cut and adhered to the card raised with foam tape for dimension. The black splatters were hand drawn with a fine liner.
I finished off the card with a few Matte Silver Metallic Pearls.
For my second card, I also used the Fresh Florals suite, but this time in a different color palette – coral, orange, olive green and light brown.
The ink colors I used for the flowers are Peach Fuzz, Apricot, Coral Reef, and Warm Buff. The green branches were stenciled in an ombré fashion using Citron, Bay Leaf, Spanish Moss and Eucalyptus. The small branches were colored with Warm Buff and a hint of Rocky Slope.
After stenciling, I cut all the elements using the one -piece coordinating die and set them aside.
To create the background, I used the Elevated Rainbows suite. First, I stenciled the Elevated Rainbows using Peach Fuzz, Ballet Slipper, Citron, and Warm buff for each stencil in the set. I then applied a transparent glitter paste over the Warm Buff section to add sparkle. Once the panel was dry, I adhered it to a white cardbase.
Next, I die-cut the Elevated Rainbows four times from white cardstock and stacked them for dimension.
The sentiment, from the Cherry Bliss set. was gold heat embossed onto a piece of white cardstock and cut with the Nested Elongated Ovals: Blanket Stitch die.
I adhered the sentiment panel to the card first, then arranged the flowers and branches as shown in the picture. To finish, I added Matte Gold Metallic Pearls to the center of the flowers.

I adore your color choices, especially the one with the gray and florals. I know it has a joyful greeting on it, but it would also be appropriately colored for a sympathy card too. So pretty!
