Hello and welcome to Pinkfresh Studio “Good Times” Release Blog Hop !!!

If you arrived here from the Mindy Eggen’s Blog, you’re on the right track. If not, be sure to head over to the Pinkfresh Studio Blog for all the details on this gorgeous new release and to start the full blog hop!

It’s release day at Pinkfresh Studio! This Good Times collection features five gorgeous product suites and two new essentials die sets. As always there are unique designs with stamps, coordinating stencils, dies and press plates!

Today, I’m showcasing the Good Times product suite, which is also the namesake of this release. The Good Times suite includes three charming clock images and four versatile sentiments—perfect for timeless designs!

I created two cards for today’s hop using the Good Times suite. The first card features the pendulum clock, and the second card highlights a custom background made with all three clocks in the set.

Let’s take a closer look!

To start this card, I heat embossed the pendulum clock image in gold. I then used the coordinating stencils to add color, blending coral pink and purple gray shades using Cherry Blossom, Peony, Sheer Freesia, Wisteria, and Misty Coast. Once stenciled, I cut out the image with the coordinating die and set it aside.

Next, I created the background using the Beautiful Soul Press Plate in the same soft color palette.  I ink blended the left bottom half of a white panel in Sheer Freesia and the top right half in Cherry Blossom. Then, I pressed the Beautiful Soul plate three times over the panel, inking it with matching colors so each press aligned with its corresponding background hue.

I adhered the finished panel to a white card base. To frame the pendulum clock, I die cut the Double Stitched Elongated Oval Frame from white cardstock and foam-mounted it at an angle. I then placed the pendulum clock in the center.

For the sentiment, I used the Good Times Press Plate and pressed it in Opulence. I die cut the sentiment and once more from plain white cardstock using the coordinating die. I ink-blended the white die-cut with Sheer Freesia and offset it slightly behind the pressed sentiment piece to create a soft shadow effect. Finally, I added a few Ice and Blush clear drops to complete the card.

For the second card, I wanted to create a custom background using all three clocks. Since the stamp comes as a single piece, I selectively inked each clock by covering the areas I didn’t want to stamp with printer paper. This allowed me to stamp each clock individually in Detail Black

After stamping, I stenciled the clocks using a soft, cheerful palette: Sweet Mustard, Sunkissed, Peony, Citron, Grassy Knoll, Sky Blue, and Waterfall

To add texture and interest, I masked the clocks using paper pieces die-cut with the coordinating die. Then, I pressed the Dashing Daisies Press Plate in Peach Fuzz over the panel, allowing the pattern to peek through in the background. I adhered the finished background flat to a white card base.

For embellishment, I die cut four glittery circular frames using the Double Stitched Circle Die and Champagne Glitter Cardstock. I arranged them over the clocks as shown in the photo, trimming off the excess.

To finish the card, I stamped a sentiment from the set in Detail Black, die cut it with the coordinating die, and added it to the card. A few Champagne glitter drops added the perfect touch of sparkle.

  1. I love all the clocks on this stamp set and some lovely sentiments to go with the images too TaeEun, and your first card with the pendulum clock works brilliantly with it placed over the angled frame and then the partially inked background with one of the flower dies embossed over it and with the corresponding colour over them to make them stand out which looks great. The second card with portions of all the images is a fun look, and the added glittery frames and gems placed over the top is something a bit different but works really well. x

  2. Wow. These clock cards are fab. I love how the oval is placed and the addition of the little circles adds subtle interest .

  3. I just love your first card with the grandfather clock and the background you put it on. Beautiful coloring on both your cards. Your second card was definitely a labor of love-not a quick card for sure. It turned out beautifully.

  4. I just love this release. The Good Times is my favorite and I love your cards. The skewed oval provides alot of interest.

  5. Great cards, TaeEun. The background on the first one is so cool! The second one is sooooo creative! I am in awe of your creativity on that one!

  6. Your cards are really lovely and your designs/colors are perfect. What an adorable new set! Thank you for sharing!

  7. What fun projects! The placement of your geometrics is super cool, and I am always a sucker for a repeating pattern! Love them!
