Hello and welcome to Pinkfresh Studio “Whispering Views” Release Blog Hop !!!

If you arrived here from Amy Colling’s Blog, you’re on the right track. If not, be sure to head over to the Pinkfresh Studio Blog for all the details on this gorgeous new release and to start the full blog hop!

It’s release day at Pinkfresh Studio! Whispering Views Release is packed with unique and dreamy designs ! I’m especially excited because I had the opportunity to design one of the product suites myself—Blushing Blooms! So today, I want to focus on that set and share two cards I created using the Blushing Blooms Press Plate. Along the way, I also incorporated three other beautiful suites: Coastal Paradise, Message in a Bottle, and Tranquil Water Lilies to build summery, textured backgrounds.

To begin, I hot foiled the Blushing Blooms images twice in gold and stenciled them using a mix of pink and orange to achieve a soft coral blend in the petals. I used the following inks:

Once stenciling was complete, I die cut all the images using the coordinating die. With a handful of florals ready to go, I moved on to creating the backgrounds for my cards.

To create a summery beach background of my first card I Picked the Coastal Paradise product suite. Using the background stencil, I created a serene beach scene:

To add texture, I dry embossed the panel with the Coastal Paradise Press Plate and cut it with a die from the Nested Rectangles Diagonal Stitch die set.

I adhered the background panel onto a white cardbase and arranged the peony flowers as shown by adding them using foam tape for dimension. The sentiment, also from Blushing Blooms, was hot foiled in gold and added to the card. Three Gold Metallic Pearls were the final touch for this card.

For my second card, I featured the Message in a Bottle suite. I hot foiled one of the bottles in gold and stenciled it with the following colors:

After die cutting the bottle, I created a water-inspired background using the stencil from the Tranquil Water Lilies suite. I blended two tones—blue and green—using Sky Blue, Turquoise, Limoncello, and Citron. I then used two dies from the Nested Rectangles Postage Edge Die Set to create a frame, which I raised with foam tape over a white card base.

To assemble the card, I added two Blushing Blooms peonies on the right side of the frame and tucked the foiled bottle into the lower portion. The sentiment is from the Message in a Bottle Press Plate Set, also hot foiled in gold.

For a bit of shimmer, I finished the card with two Sky Blue and one Leaf Clear Drops.
