Hello and welcome to Pinkfresh Studio “Delicate Details” Release Blog Hop !!!

If you arrived here from Michelle Short’s Blog, you’re on the right track. If not, be sure to head over to the Pinkfresh Studio Blog for all the details on this gorgeous new release and to start the full blog hop!

It’s release day at Pinkfresh Studio ! With the Delicate Details Release, Pinkfresh Studio is revealing really unique collection. This Release truly lives up to its name. The designs feel soft, graceful, and beautifully intricate, filled with elegant floral motifs and charming details that bring a touch of artistry to every project.

I created two cards to share for today’s hop. Let’s take a look 🙂 !

To create my first card, I started by choosing a color palette of turquoise and gold. I hot foiled the Lush Elegance image in turquoise, and then used the negative foil with the Solid Hot Foil Plate to create turquoise images with white outlines.

Next, I stenciled the hot foiled Lush Elegance images using the coordinating stencils. The flowers were inked in Waterfall and Turquoise with their centers colored in Citron and Sunshine. The leaves were stenciled in Warm Buff and Bay Leaf.

Once stenciling was complete, I die cut all the images using the coordinating die.

For the background, I ink blended the edges of a white panel using Waterfall, Turquoise and Paradise, deepening the color toward the borders. To harmonize with my palette, I also blended in a touch of Citron.

After ink blending was done, I lightly spritzed the panel with water to add a soft watercolor effect, then dry embossed it with the Trellis coverplate die for added texture.

I adhered the background panel to a white cardbase and arranged two stenciled and two turquoise hot foiled flowers along the border using foam tape for dimension.

The sentiment, also hot foiled in turquoise, was matted with a golden banner cut with the Basic Banners die. To finish off the card, I scattered a few Gold Metallic Pearls.

The second card features the Wildflower Elegance stencil and die sets along with the Petal Grid coverplate die.

I stenciled the Wildflower Elegance image using the stencils in following ink colors:
Pink flowers – Cherry Blossom, Peony, Ballet Slipper and Sparkling Rose,
Red flowers – Berrylicious, Regal Kiss,
Center of the flowers- Marigold,
Stem and Leaves-Grassy Knoll, Eucalyptus and Olive.

After stenciling, I cut the image with the coordinating die and set it aside.

For the background, I lightly ink blended a white panel in Sparkling Rose and Grassy Knoll, then cut it with the Petal Grid coverplate die and attached it to a white cardbase. I cut a white elongated oval piece using the Nested Elongated Oval die and foam mounted it onto the background. Next, I trimmed the floral image along the outline of the elongated oval panel, adhering the outer portion directly to the background panel and attaching the rest onto the elongated oval panel using foam tape.

The sentiment from the On My Mind set was stamped in Detail Black and cut with the coordinating die. To finish the card, I added three Iridescent Clear Drops.

  1. Oh, these are so pretty. I like how you used white paper for part of the background, and blue on others. Great idea.

  2. Your cards are always so beautiful! You are so inspiring. I love both of your cards, but the first one with the blue and green background is just so unique. So beautiful.

  3. Both cards are lovely, but I especially appreciate the blue card and how you used a solid, darker blue on some flowers, and a lighter blue and yellow mix on others. Gorgeous!!

  4. It’s so hard to pick just one out of this product suite.. They are all fabulous. I think the Lush Elegance is my favorite and the On My Mind stamp set too.

  5. starting to really really love the wildflower elegance! had my eyes on the coverplate dies and the bloom and brew but this is seriously making me dreamy!

  6. Stunning cards! Love the turquoise and gold theme of your first card and how the gold banner ties it all together nicely. Your second card was so creative with the floral hanging off the oval and carrying onto the background. I must try this out.

  7. Absolutely gorgeous cards. I fell in love with the colours that you used the moment I saw them on the Instagram. I had to come and read how you’ve created these magical cards. They are so beautiful. I love the flowers and they are truly magical.

  8. Beautiful. I think the cream/yellow card (center) is my favorite from these three. I don’t see that color used as the primary color much, and it works with these elements to create a gentle, elegant statement.

  9. Those delicate florals make a beautiful frame on that gorgeous blue. Love how you styled the wildflower Elegance, it’s a beauty.

  10. Love the frame you created with the pretty flowers on your first card, and the wildflowers are gorgeous for your second card!

  11. I love the die cut and prettily coloured leaves around the central die cut and gold banner to back the stamped and die cut sentiment, and the turquoise and green inks are so bright and pretty. The second looks wonderful with the oval shaped mat and added stencilled and die cut flowers, and the floral cover plate die makes a great backdrop and so lovely with the added pink and finished with the stamped and die cut sentiment and little irridescent gems. Both are brilliant cards TaeEun. x

  12. Two fabulous cards TaeEun! I love both the colour combos and all the little details! The design of the pink one is especially eye-catching – I love how you cut the flowers and adhered some petals to the background – so creative!

  13. Such lovely cards! I really love the color scheme of the first one, but the second one I’m inspired by the layout. very beautiful cards!
