Hello everyone! I hope you’re having a wonderful week so far!
I’m on the Pinkfresh Studio blog today, sharing a chic card featuring theElegant Essence product suite from The Couture Edit Release! For today’s card I chose a blue-purple color scheme for the perfume bottle. To create a cohesive and modern look, I also made a plaid background pattern using the same colors. Even though the card looks elegant and polished, it’s actually very quick and easy to create thanks to the beautifully designedlayering stencils of the Elegant Essence set !

I started by hot foiling the Elegant Essence images and sentiments in Rose Gold using the press plate. Next, I colored the images using the coordinating stencil set. For the glass, cap, and pump, I used Sheer Freesia, Wisteria, and Hydrangea to create a soft tinted glass effect. The perfume inside the bottle was blended in two tones: the blue area with Sky Blue, Summer Shower, and Seaside, and the purple area with Lavender, Candy Violet, and Regal Kiss. I colored the bow using Sky Blue, Summer Shower, and Seaside to match the blue tones of the perfume.
Once the coloring was finished, I die cut all the Elegant Essence images using the coordinating die.

To create the background, I pressed a plaid pattern using the Diagonal Plaid Press Plate. I first pressed the pattern in Sky Blue, then turned the plate 90 degrees and pressed it again in Soft Lilac to create a layered plaid effect.
The finished plaid panel was cut using the largest die from the Nested Rectangles Postage Edge die set and foam mounted onto a white card base. I then cut a smaller Postage Edge rectangle from white cardstock and adhered it to the center using foam tape to create an additional layer.

Finally, I added the perfume bottle, bow, and the hot foiled sentiment to the center of the card, securing them with foam tape for dimension. To complete the design, I embellished the card with three Lilac Clear Drops for a subtle finishing touch.

For a cohesive and polished design, choose your color scheme before you begin and repeat the same palette in both the focal element and the background. This simple step helps create a stylish and well-balanced card.
Thank you so much for stopping by today!
Wishing you all a crafty day!
