If you arrived here from Carissa Wiley’s Blog, you’re on the right track. If not, be sure to head over to the Pinkfresh Studio Blog for all the details on this gorgeous new release and to start the full blog hop!

It’s release day at Pinkfresh Studio !  The Daydream Edit release is filled with beautiful floral designs and includes four gorgeous floral washi suites, each with coordinating stamp, die, and stencil sets, along with two stunning large floral product suites —sure to delight every flower lover with its abundance of floral beauty 🌸!

Today I’m sharing two cards created with two lovely washi suites from this release.

My first card showcases the Celebrate in Blooms suite, designed by our lovely team leader Kinnari !!

For this card, I used the washi tape images. To make them sturdier, I adhered the Celebrate in Blooms washi tape to white cardstock and die cut the images using the coordinating dies. I wanted to create a dramatic background for the beautiful bouquet, so I started by ink blending a white A2 panel in a pink gradient using Peony and Raspberry Bliss, keeping the center uncolored and making the panel darker towards the perimeter. After ink blending, I dry embossed the panel using the Dashing Daisies Press Plate. For a dreamy look, I splattered white opaque ink over the entire panel and added clear water splatters after the white ink was completely dry.

The background panel was attached flat onto a white cardbase. I then foam mounted the bouquet from the Celebrate in Blooms washi on top. To make the bouquet even fuller, I die cut some branches from white cardstock using the Wild Meadow Wreath die and tucked them underneath the floral arrangement.

The sentiment from the Celebrate in Blooms stamp set was stamped in Detail Black, die cut, and added to the card. I finished the design with a few Champagne Glitter Drops

The second card features the Whispering Daffodils suite. I created a simple one layer card by watercoloring the large daffodil cluster image.

I stamped the largest image from the Whispering Daffodils stamp set in Detail Black onto a panel of Pinkfresh Studio Premium watercolor paper. Since the images are connected on one stamp, I carefully inked only the daffodil cluster and covered the surrounding images with printer paper.

Next, I watercolored the image using Premium Liquid Watercolors. The daffodils were painted in Lemon Whip and Clementine, with a bit of Warm Buff added for deeper shading. The small blue flowers were colored in Seaside and Lavender, and the greenery in Grassy Knoll and Bay Leaf.

To add a subtle background, I die cut printer paper using a die from the Nested Elongated Ovals die set to create a mask. I covered the watercolored panel with the negative die cut piece and ink blended the open oval area with Sky Blue on the upper half and Grassy Knoll on the lower half.

Finally, I stamped the sentiment from the same stamp set in Detail Black and cut the panel using the Single Stitch Rectangle die. I added two Iridescent Clear Drops for a touch of sparkle.
