Hello everyone!

I’m popping in to share my reminder card for the ongoing Flower Challenge ! Yes, we are already halfway through this month 🙂 ! The theme of May is PRETTY PASTELS !

For this card I used the Lily Bloom stamp and stencils by The Ton. I stamped and stenciled the lilies on the background in soft colors and colored the main lily using darker inks but not too vibrantly.

For the background I stamped the Lily Bloom in Soft Ash and stenciled the flowers in Whisper Pink and Bubblegum. For the stem and leaves I used Matcha. I ink blended the lower part of the panel in Matcha softly and splattered white ink on the panel. I cut the panel using a die from the Double Pierced Rectangle A2 Nested Die set and adhered it on a white cardbase.

The scalloped frame was cut using the Scalloped Nested A2 Die and the Rectangle A2 Nested Die. I foam mounted the frame on the background.

The main lily bloom was stamped in Noir and stenciled in Bubblegum, Dolled Up and Deep Peony. I also used a bit of Peach Blossom and Coralline Hybrid ink to add hint of orange to the lily flower. For the stem and the leaves I used Matcha and Meadow. I added white highlights to the stamen and the petals and then fussy cut the lily image ( you can use the coordinating die! ).

The lily was foam mounted on the card. I stamped the sentiment from the same stamp set in black on the background and scattered a few Diamond Gems to finish off the card.

  1. Wow yet another of your fabulous cards TaeEun! just adore this one and that fabulous lily too 😉 hugs Viv xx

  2. Such a beautiful lily tucked within that stitched scallop frame TaeEun, and the softly stencilled lilies are so pretty in the background, and the bit of blended green ink with the white spatters coming up from one corner really draws your eye in to the fabulous central lily..a gorgeous card! x
