Hello everyone!
Today I have a few holiday tags to share with you! I made them using one stamp set, called Festive Frolic (30-630) from First Snow release by Penny Black. I love this clear stamp set! It is filled with cute critters! For the sentiments I used Merry Up stamp set (30-622) which has lots of small sentiments. Great for the tags!!!
These are the five tags I made! As they are all made in the similar way, I’ll describe how I made them first and show you the photos of each tag!
Three of them are showing the critters from Festive Frolic (30-630) stamp set which were no-line watercolored using Zig brush markers. For those I used Strathmore Bristol smooth paper. I stamped the cuties in Antique Linen DI, except for the polar bear which was stamped in a light gray dye ink.
After the coloring was done, I cut them using the matching dies, Festive Frolic Cut Out (51-582).
For the rest two tags I stamped the images in a black pigment ink on Canson watercolor paper panels and watercolored them using Mijello Mission Gold watercolor.
I ink blended the colored panels or separate background panels using Distress inks and splattered clear water on it and dabbed it off with a paper towel.
I used Copic opaque white ink to make the white parts of the images more brighter and to splatter the snow in the background.
The small tags were cut using the small rectangle die from Snowflake Frames (51-565) die set. The larger ones are cut with a die from Stitched Nested Frames (51-535) die set. I cut the same panel for each tag from some white cardstock and adhered it on the back of each. I then punched the small hole and tied the ribbon.
Below are the close up photos! Enjoy!
