Hello everyone!
I’m popping in again to share my DT card with you! It’s time for a reminder post of the latest Flower Challenge #37 with the theme CAS!
We have a PRIZE to give away again this month. The amazing Michele from
CAS-ual Fridays stamps has generously agreed to give our lucky winner this month a
prize of $25. All the Design Team have used CAS-ual Fridays stamps also on their cards. Michele very kindly gave us all some of her stamps to use on our cards 😉
It’s our 3rd Birthday challenge! Here is a little banner to celebrate it 🙂 !
I used Daisy Chain stamp set by CAS-ual Fridays to make my CAS card.
I stamped the daisy chains in a black pigment ink on a Bristol vellum paper panel as shown in the picture and watercolored the flowers in yellow and pink. After the colors were dry I ink blended yellow DI on the bottom edge of the panel.
I cut the hello word using hello word die by The Ton from hot pink shimmer cardstock and three more times from black cardstock. I added a thin strip of yellow cardstock on the front panel and adhered the sentiment all stacked together. Three black flatback pearls were my finishing touch!
I used to enjoy making CAS cards as I started cardmaking. It was great to create some again for The Flower Challenge. Hope you’ll play along with us!
