A new challenge has started today at Seize the Birthday. We have a toppings option chosen by Shirley – It’s Just a Number!
We have always Anything Goes category, if you don’t like to take our toppings option! Any birthday themed project is welcome in our gallery!
First I stamped the sentiment in a black pigment ink on the center of a Bristol smooth panel and clear heat embossed it. I then stamped the Gardenia Border stamp on it in Antique Linen DI.
That was a pretty simple one layer card without any embellishment! Hope I was able to inspire you with my card to play along with us!

I found a perfect sentiment stamp by Penny Black called Sprinkles and Smiles in my stash ! I paired this sentiment with Gardenia Border Cling stamp by The Ton to complete my card!
First I stamped the sentiment in a black pigment ink on the center of a Bristol smooth panel and clear heat embossed it. I then stamped the Gardenia Border stamp on it in Antique Linen DI.
I colored the flowers using Zig brush markers while blending the colors with a water brush. The finished front panel was cut using a Double Stitched Rectangle die and mounted flat on a white cardbase.
That was a pretty simple one layer card without any embellishment! Hope I was able to inspire you with my card to play along with us!
