I have the image printed on Canson Mixed Media Paper and colored using Color Burst powders along with other watercolors. I used Alizarin Crimson and Merlot for the peonies. The leaves were colored in gray and the little flowers in violet. I colored the background in Payne’s gray and Violet.
After the coloring was done I added white splatters all over the panel and let it dry. I then cut the panel using Double Stitched Rectangle die and mounted it on a white cardbase.
The sentiment was cut using Fabulous word die from Adhesive Glitter paper Glossy Fine Silver and from some white cardstock and stacked together. The ” YOU ARE ” from Basic Labels set was stamped in Iris Blooms and added to the card with foam adhesives.
To finish off I scattered some sequins from Lilac Blossoms Couture Mix and drew the stamen using a black glaze pen. I love how this turned out! This stamp set is just so lovely!
