As you may know Altenew is hosting a Celebrating Parents Card Drive for a great cause. Altenew is collecting cards for seniors who are in nursing homes or shelters to show them they are loved, celebrated, and honored. If you missed the post on Altenew blog, please click here. I’ve made a Mother’s day card using Best Mom stamp set. This set is one of the stamp sets, 20{3ef674c9fd176649c89f9051e814eea51265cffdec397d743062752c782d724e} of the profits earned from which will be donated to support seniors in need. (more details further below).
I stamped the image from Best Mom two times on Ranger watercolor paper in black pigment ink and watercolored them using Altenew Watercolor Brush Markers.
I used Citrus Burst, Fresh lemon and Crimson to color the flowers and Limeade, Lime and Sweet Leaf for the leaves. The sentiment is also from the same set. I stamped it in a black pigment ink and clear heat embossed it.
I used here a sentiment for Mom but please use a generic sentiment if you make cards for the card drive. Please refer to the guidelines on the Altenew Blog.
I ink blended the right border of the panel in Pink Diamond and glued it on a cardbase. To finish off I applied Crystal Stickles on the center of the flowers.
