Hello everyone!!!
Today I have a floral card to share with you which I made for the first challenge of this year at The Flower Challenge! We have a color theme for you to try and it is one of my favorite color combintaion!
I used a floral cling background stamp by The Ton called Gardenia Garden.
I started off by stamping the cling stamp on a Canson watercolor paper panel using Picked Raspberry DI. I scribbled gray Aquamarker on the outside of the gardenia flowers and sprayed lots of water before stamping.
I watercolored the flowers in pink and the leaves in gray and let the panel dry. I then stamped the Gardenia Garden again in embossing ink with the help of MISTI tool and heat embossed the image in White Pearl EP.
I cut the panel using a Double Stitched Rectangle die and foam mounted it on a gray cardbase. The sentiment was cut using Brushed You Coordinating die from DIY silver glitter paper I made using Adhesive Glitter Paper Glossy Fine Silver and from some heavyweight white cardstock. I stacked them all and adhered it onto the card. The white heat embossed sentiment on the gray strip is from Brushed You set as well. I finished off the card by adding some Glass Slippers sequins.
The shine from the pearl embossing is just gorgeous under the light.
So now it’s your turn. If you didn’t try the pink and gray combination yet, you have to give it a try. You’ll love it!
Please stop by The The Flower Challenge blog for more inspiration from my lovely team mates before you go crafting :)!
And there is one more picture to share. Our expert in digital design, Vivien, has made a collage out of our best four DT cards from the year of 2018. These are my favorites from last year :).
Thank you so much for visiting my blog today!
Hugs,
