Today I have a DT card to share to remind you of our newest challenge at The Flower Challenge!
The theme of the 21st challenge is ” USE A PREVIOUS CHALLENGE”

I chose #13: Use Your Favorite Flower again. My previous DT card was featuring hydrangeas. This time I put some calla lilies on my card. I’ve made some cards showing calla lilies – look here and here. Once I drew them myself once I used a stamp from EunJi.
The lilies for today’s card were drawn by me during the last 30day coloring challenge in January. It’s been on my desk since 🙂 and finally I’ve turned it into a card.
I found a lovely picture of calla lilies on Pinterest, sketched it on some watercolor paper with a pencil and watercolored it using Mijello Mission Gold watercolor. I cut the panel using a Double Stitched Square die.
The sentiment from Penny Black was heat embossed in Rose Gold EP by The Ton on a torn vellum strip. I glued the vellum strip on the back of the front panel and adhered the panel flat on a square cardbase, on which I added a pink striped patterned paper. I finished off the card by adding some iridescent sequins.
Actually I like white calla lilies, but as you know it’s so hard to color white flowers :)! So I went with pink. Hope you enjoyed looking my card and decided to enter into The Flower Challenge!
