Hello everyone! It’s time for a reminder post for the latest Flower Challenge! Im April we’re playing with some pretty pastel colors!
For today’s post I used this sweet cling stamp from Penny Black called Rosa (40-741). This is a brushstroke image in a doodled look!
I stamped the Rosa (40-741) image two times on the top part of a Bristol smooth paper panel. First I stamped the image after I scribbled Tombow brush markers on the stamp and spritzed with clear water. After the stamped image was dry I stamped them again in Spiced Marmalade, Picked Raspberry and Twisted Citron DI for more definition of the brushstrokes.
The sentiment from the Smiles (30-802) set was heat embossed in Liquid Platinum on the panel. Before I adhered the colored panel on the cardbase I ink blended the top and both sides of a white cardbase using the same DIs I used for stamping.
Our kind sponsor this month is Varada Sharma with a gift code of $10 for digital stamps in her shop!
Please don’t forget to stop by The Flower Challenge blog for more inspiration from my lovely team mates and our guest designer Keia from ‘confessionsofapaperholic’ !
Hope I was able to inspire you to play along with my card today 🙂 !
Have a great day!

Gorgoeus soft colours for your beautiful watercoloured roses, TaeEun! This is a piece-of-art in a card! xx
Inking the border like that was such a great idea, TaeEun. It brings the eye in to your beautiful flowers that look hand painted.
Lovely flowercards , love the pastel colors
