Gold and Crimson

I stamped the peony flowers and leaves on a vellum using embossing ink. After heat embossing it in gold I colored it using colored pencils. Last week I saw a beautiful card with flowers from Marika Rahtu which she colored using colored pencils on a vellum. After I’ve seen the video tutorial from Marika, I wanted to give the technique a try.

I fussy cut the flowers and leaves, made a banner out of a gold striped brown paper and an another one out of beige shimmer paper. The sentiment from Hero Arts was gold heat embossed on the beige banner.

All the elements were mounted on a red Bling CS from Bazzill.

For the final touch I added some gold and red sequins.
