Hello everyone! Hope your week is off to a great start!

It’s time for a new challenge at The Flower Challenge! This month we want to see a heart or more on your card! As always flower(s) should be the main part of your project!

I made a simple floral card with a heart in the center! My card features the Delicate Floral Print cling stamp and the Shaker Heart die set by Pinkfresh Studio.

To begin I heat embossed the Delicate Floral Print on Canson XL watercolor paper and watercolored the panel loosely in Alizarin Crimson, Lime Green and Chartreuse Color Burst powder.

After the panel was dry I cut it with the Stitched Rectangles die and foam mounted it on a white cardbase.

I cut a heart from Canson watercolor paper using the large die of the Shaker Heart die set and added it to the card.

I heat embossed some flowers and leaves of the Delicate Floral Print on watercolor paper and colored them in the same colors which I used for the background. I then fussy cut a flower and some leaves and arranged them on the heart.

The sentiment is from Celebrating You stamp set. I heat embossed it in white on black cardstock, cut it with the coordinating die and added it to the heart. I added some Glacier Jewels to the center of the flowers and the card was finished!

That’s it from me! Now it’s your turn to be creative and make a floral project with a heart on it 🙂 !
