Hello and Happy Friday, crafty friends!
It’s time for a new challenge at The Flower Challenge! Im November we’re having the theme ” ADD EMBELLISHMENTS ” ! Add some bling, sparkle, washi tape or twine to your floral projects to play along!
I made a holiday card with a Poinsettia Wreath along with a festive bell ! I added lots of Crystal Clear Rhinestones by The Ton as my embellishments !
I started by white heat embossing the Poinsettia Wreath on some watercolor paper and watercolored the poinsettias in orange and green. I also watercolored the background area around the image in light green. After done with the coloring I cut the panel using the Double Pierced Rectangle A2 Nested die and adhered it on a white cardbase.
The bell image is one of the four stencil images from the Holiday Bells Large Stencil set. The holy leaves were stenciled in Meadow and Spring Salad, the bell in Vanilla Frosted Cupcake, Beach Blondie and Amber Citrine, the bow in Lipstick Red and Pink Derby and the branch in Found Topaz.
I cut the bell using the coordinating die and foam mounted it on the poinsettia wreath along with some white die cut mini pine sprigs.
The sentiment is from the Easy Expressions Holiday set which was partly heat embossed in gold and stamped in Noir. I cut it using the coordinating die and added it to the card using some foam tape.
I then scattered lots of Crystal Clear Rhinestones on the wreath and added one Red Gem to the bow.

The wreath was gorgeous on its own, TaeEun, but the bells add a wonderful focal point.
