Hello everyone! Hope you’re having a lovely weekend!

It’s already time for a reminder post of the ongoing Flower Challenge! The theme of this month’s challenge is FOCUS ON BACKGROUND STAMPING. I made a DIY background pattern last time. For the reminder card I used a background stamp.

This gorgeous stamp is called Magnolia Pattern by Pinkfresh Studio.

I stamped the Magnolia Pattern in Detail Black on a Neenah solar white panel and stenciled it using the coordinating stencil set. To stencil the flowers I used Coral Reef, Apricot, Candy Apple and Regal Kiss. For the leaves I used Misty coast and Rocky Slope. I added a bit of green color to the leaves using Grassy Knoll. The stem was stenciled in Licorice.

I cut the Stitched Scallop Rectangles three times from white cardstock, layered them and adhered in on the stenciled panel, which I trimmed down to fit under the scalloped rectangle frame.

I trimmed a white A2 cardbase also slightly down and adhered the front panel on it.

The sentiment is from the Modern Script Sentiments set. I stamped it in Detail Black, die cut using the coordinating die and layered it on a die cut red fun foam.

I finished off the card with a few Ruby Glitter Drops.

  1. This large magnolia flower stamp is gorgeous and the partial colouring suits it so well TaeEun, and love the mix of colours you have used for a interesting less traditional look and finished beautifully with the scalloped frame. x

  2. I love how you have coloured this background stamp Tae Eun. I see so many stamps I want and try to resist but this one needs to join my collection, is just so majestic. The colouring playing it perfectly xx Aileen
