Today I have four cards to share with you.
My first card is showing the decorative garland from a stamp set which will debut tomorrow and the Dearest Peony in gold on black background.
I started by gold heat embossing the Dearest Peony on a black card stock and colored it with pearl watercolor. I fussy cut it and set it aside to make the background. For my background I first cut a black panel shaped like the garland with my Cutting machine and gold heat embossed the garland on it. On my black card base I adhered some strip of Adhesive Gold Foil paper in various width and foam mounted the cut panel with gold garland. I mounted the peony with some foam adhesive as well and added a few sequins from Glossy black and Medallion Gold sequins. I’ll add a sentiment inside, if I send it to someone.
On my second card I colored the gorgeous Peony Crush using alcohol inks! I couldn’t resist :)!
I stamped Peony Crush in Vanilla Frosted Cupcake as my guide for coloring. I applied the alcohol inks by tilting the bottle and the glossy cardstock so that I could control the flow. I used Raspberry, Flamingo and Shell Pink for peony flowers, Limeade and Citrus for leaves and Aqua for background. After the ink was dry I stamped the Peony Crush again in embossing ink and heat embossed it in gold. To add some interest onto my card I cut a square frame using Double Stitched Square dies from my colored panel and once again from Adhesive Gold Foil paper. I inlaid the gold frame into the place where I took off the colored frame. I die cut the Adhesive Gold Foil paper and some green fun foam using Hello word die and stacked them onto my card as shown in the picture.
To finish off I scattered some sequins from Raspberry Sparkle, Purple Ballgown Couture Mix and Smoked Emerald Sparkling clear sequins.
My next card is featuring Pretty Mail stamp set as a picture frame.
I used the Pretty Mail stamp set as a frame for a picture of the lady from Born Classy. To start off I heat embossed the image in Rose Gold on some Bristol Smooth paper. I then made a mask to stamp the lady inside of the frame in Vanilla Frosted Cupcake. I colored the flower cluster around the image using Zig brush markers and added some pink-green-blue wash around it. I colored the inside of the frame with Copic markers, added clear glitter and then stamped some branch from Pragmatic Wreaths stamp set (debuting tomorrow) in Crystal Pewter.
The sentiment from Dearest Peony was heat embossed in silver on a strip of vellum and added to the front panel. I added strips of Adhesive Glitter Paper Silver on the top and left edge of the card base before I foam mounted the front panel on it. I added thin strip of it onto the frame as well. The finishing touch was some sequins from Coral Necklace and Amethyst Quartz (debuting tomorrow) Couture Mix.
My last card for today and for The Ton’s Spring 2017 Release was made using the gorgeous Peony Crush cling stamp.
I silver heat embossed Peony Crush on some Bristol Smooth paper and colored the flowers using Zig Brush markers. I colored the background in light blue. I then made my camouflaging sentiment by die cutting the panel, and a pink fun foam using Coordinating die of Brushed love. “Sending” is from Dearest Peony stamp set. I white heat embossed it on some silver cardstock, cut it in a fishtail banner and adhered it on the card. The Sequins I used here are from Raspberry Sparkle Couture Mix and Glass Slippers sequins.
