Seize the Birthday – No Topping

Hello again!  🙂

I’m popping in to share my DT card for Seize the Birthday with you! 

This time we have no Toppings option!!! Anything Goes! But you know already, our gallery is only for birthday cards :).

I’ve made a simple one.

First I stamped the Macarons from The Ton and die cut them using coordinating die. The colors I used are :  Pink (Rose Quartz, Hollywood Star, Cosmopolitan Pink Hybrid), Yellow (Lemon Drop, Amber Citrine, Coraline Hybrid), Light blue (Blue Diamond, Cali Blue, Cobalt Breeze), Red (Coraline Hybrid, Lipstick Red, Pink Derby) and Purple (Soft Amethyst, Plum Wine, Iris Blooms).

I found a mint pattern paper with silver foiling, cut it and foam mounted it on my card base. I added a thin strip of Adhesive glitter paper-Glossy fine Silver on the bottom edge of the panel. I then silver heat embossed the sentiment from the same stamp set on a strip of vellum, adhered it on the card and glued the macarons on the bottom edge of the front panel. The tiny flower cluster is from Beautiful Day Bicycle stamp set from The Ton, which I had already colored in my stash.
