Hello again, everyone!
I’m popping in with a watercolor floral card I made for the new challenge at The Flower Challenge. For this month we have a Tic Tac Toe board for you to play with!

I chose an easy combination, the vertical line in the middle; distress inks, watercolor and die-cuts. The creator of our challenge Aileen sent me a lovely card a while back and she packed some pretty die cuts with the card. One of them is this gorgeous rose die cut on watercolor cardstock (I think it is from Tim Holtz, as it is bright white!) Thank you so much again, Aileen 🙂 !!!

I started off by coloring the negative panel using green and blue DIs. I used Twisted Citron, Mowed Lawn, Crushed Olive, Peacock Feather and Broken China. I then colored the positive die cut. For the rose I used Candied Apple, Worn Lipstick and Picked Raspberry. I foam mounted the negative panel on the cardbase and glued the rose on it slightly askew. I added some foam adhesives to the rose and the leaves for some more dimension. The sentiment is from Message Me by Clearly Besotted, which I stamped in black pigment ink. I finished off the card with a few sequins.

It was a quick card yet with a beautiful result! I love how it turned out. Now it’s your turn to play with our Tic-Tac-Toe board!
