Hello and welcome to Pinkfresh Studio Holiday Stamp and Die Release Blog Hop!
You’ve arrived here from Rebecca Luminarias’ blog, if you’re following the blog hop order. In case you’re lost on the way or want to start over, please hop over to Pinkfresh Studio blog!
Pinkfresh Studio has released 5 stamp sets with coordinating dies, one stand alone die and one word die set today! The designs of this holiday release are pretty, clean and unique!
I’ve made three cards using some of the stamp and die sets from this release to share with you today.
My first card is featuring Classic Holiday Words dies and the Home for the Holidays paper and Embellishment bundle.
I picked a green patterned paper from Home for the Holidays 6×6 paper pack and applied white gesso on the center of it with a flat bristle brush and some splatters all over the panel. After the gesso was dry I cut it using a Diagonal Stitched Rectangle die and adhered it on a white cardbase.
I then assembled the snow globe using Globe Elements from Home for the Holidays Embellishment bundle. I added the clear acetate piece by adhering it using double sided tape underneath the two stars.
I cut two red strips with stars from a patterned paper from Home for the Holidays 6×6 paper pack and one strip from gold foil paper.
I added the strips and the snow globe onto the card using some foam adhesives.
The thin sentiment was cut from some gold foil paper using Classic Holiday Words die set. I then cut the background from a piece of vellum. I adhered them together and added it on the snow globe.
To finish off I added lady bug Pico embellisher on the holly berries and to the bow and clear glitter on the holly leaves.
The next card is featuring Cozy Christmas Wishes stamp set.
I wanted to make the sentiment stand out, which is integrated in the image. So I decided to heat emboss the sentiment in gold while heat embossing the small images around it in white. To do it, I stamped the image on a sheet of printer paper and cut out the sentiment part to use it as a mask and the negative part as a mask for the small images.
I masked the images around the sentiment and stamped the sentiment in an embossing ink to heat emboss it in gold on a navy cardstock. I then ink blended the perimeter of the A2 sized panel in dark navy and black ink and cut it using a Diagonal Stitched Rectangle die.
Next I masked the sentiment and stamped the small images around it in a white pigment ink and colored them with Prismacolor colored pencils. After the coloring was completed I white heat embossed the small images.
I foam mounted the panel on a white cardbase. I finished off the card by adding Lady bug Pico Embellisher on the berries and Crystal Stickles on the sparkles.
My last card for today is showcasing the beautiful Season’s Greetings stamp set.
For this card I used beautiful coral colored ink from Pinkfresh Studio which will be released very soon!!! I ink blended a Bristol Smooth paper panel while brightening towards the center. After ink blending I splattered white opaque ink all over the panel. When I added splatters, I covered the center with a circle scrap paper. I cut the panel using a Stitched Rectangle die and set it aside.
Next I gold heat embossed the beautiful wreath and the bow from Season’s Greetings stamp set on a separate paper. I ink blended on them in the same coral ink and colored them with Prismacolor colored pencils. I colored the leaves in white to keep the wreath monochromatic. I then cut the wreath and the bow using the coordinating dies.
I gold heat embossed the sentiment on the background panel and foam mounted the panel on a white cardbase. Then I added the wreath along with a gold string on the card using some foam adhesives. The bow was placed on the top of the wreath and I put a small white enamel dot from Home for the Holidays Embellishment bundle on it. I added white Pico embellisher on the tiny berries to finish off the card.
That’s it from my side! I hope I could showcase the beauty of the stamp and die sets and inspire you to create!
