*I wrote the name of the ink cube pack in parentheses in the description.

The inks are so juicy and stamp beautifully on the paper. They will be a great addition to your ink collection!

I have three cards to share with you today. Two of them are holiday cards and I added a floral card to show you the stamped images.

Let’s take a look at the holiday cards first! For these cards I used mainly the blending technique and the inks were very easy to blend using make-up brushes.

ink3ef674c9fd176649c89f9051e814eea51265cffdec397d743062752c782d724e2ball-2-3783437

For the first card I used Layered Wreath die and Skiing by stamp set from the recent Holiday Release. I tried a new-to-me color combination; purple, teal and yellow.

ink3ef674c9fd176649c89f9051e814eea51265cffdec397d743062752c782d724e2b13ef674c9fd176649c89f9051e814eea51265cffdec397d743062752c782d724e2b1-4-2272347

First I made the front panel by ink blending Stargazer (Starry Night), Lavender (Soul of Provence), Tidal Pond (Island Oasis) and Mermaid Cove(Island Oasis) from top and bottom towards the middle of a white cardstock. I added lots of white splatters to the panel and let it dry. I then cut the Layered Wreath from the panel. I also cut the Layered Wreath from some white cardstock and green fun foam.

I glued a piece of clear acetate between the white and the green foam wreath to make the shaker window.

For the background I ink blended Sunshine (Rise and Shine) and Grassy Knoll (Over the Hills) and splattered white opaque ink as snow on a white cardbase. The skiing bunny from  Skiing by set was stamped using a black ink and Lavender (Soul of Provence). I masked the sweater and stamped the line in black and stamped the sweater part in Lavender. I added some texture in the sweater using a black fine liner. I cut the bunny with the coordinating die and glued it on the cardbase along with a hill of white cardstock which was cut using coordinating die as well.

I then assembled the shaker card by adding micro beads and silver glitter. I also die cut the small leaves using Layered Wreath die set from a piece of cardstock which I ink blended in Tidal Pond (Island Oasis) and Mermaid Cove(Island Oasis) . The berries were cut from some yellow cardstock. I stamped the sentiment in Stargazer (Starry Night) on a piece of white cardstock and added it to the card.

The second holiday card is showcasing Merry Days stamp and die set along with Classic Holiday Words die set.  And I used Key Lime (Over the Hills), Grassy Knoll (Over the Hills), Passion Fruit (Heartbeat) and Bubble Gum (Fairy Dust) to match with the colors of the Rainbow with Splatters washi tape I used to cut the tree.

ink3ef674c9fd176649c89f9051e814eea51265cffdec397d743062752c782d724e2b23ef674c9fd176649c89f9051e814eea51265cffdec397d743062752c782d724e2b2-3-5759014

I started off by die cutting the Merry Days from Bling black cardstock panel and from a piece of cardstock on which I adhered Rainbow with Splatters washi tape. I also cut it from some soft pink fun foam to raise the tree with the washi tape.

ink3ef674c9fd176649c89f9051e814eea51265cffdec397d743062752c782d724e2b23ef674c9fd176649c89f9051e814eea51265cffdec397d743062752c782d724e2bcu2-2-7652556

I blended Key Lime (Over the Hills), Grassy Knoll (Over the Hills), Passion Fruit (Heartbeat) and Bubble Gum (Fairy Dust) on a soft pink cardbase keeping the transition of the colors like the Rainbow with Splatters washi tape. After the ink was completely dry I white heat embossed the Merry Days  image on it.

ink3ef674c9fd176649c89f9051e814eea51265cffdec397d743062752c782d724e2b23ef674c9fd176649c89f9051e814eea51265cffdec397d743062752c782d724e2b3-4-2484062

I adhered the die cut Merry Days tree from pink foam and Rainbow with Splatters washi on the cardbase aligning with the white heat embossed image and added the negative black panel to the card. I die cut the words from silver glitter and white cardstock using Classic Holiday Words die , stacked them together and adhered it on the card. I finished off the card by adding some pink, yellow and night blue jewels.

To show you how the inks stamp I’ve made the next card. I stamped the floral images from Lovely Blossoms stamp set using an acrylic block once on Neenah solar white paper. As you can see they stamp beautifully.

ink3ef674c9fd176649c89f9051e814eea51265cffdec397d743062752c782d724e2b33ef674c9fd176649c89f9051e814eea51265cffdec397d743062752c782d724e2b1-3-5926891

I stamped the pink small flowers in Sparkling Rose and Bubble Gum (Fairy Dust) the yellow ones in Sunshine, Sweet Mustard and Marigold (Rise and Shine), the blue ones in Sky Blue, Summer Shower and Seaside (Morning Sky) and the purple one in Soft Lilac and Lavender (Soul of Provence). The leaves were stamped in Misty Coast and Rocky Slope (Urban Raincoat). Some of the flowers I stamped in two shades. I cut them all out using the coordinating dies and set them aside.

I cut a heavy weight Neenah solar white cardstock using a frame die from Pretty Frames die set and ink blended it. I used Sunshine, Sweet Mustard (Rise and Shine) and Bubble Gum (Fairy Dust). The thin frame was silver heat embossed two times. I also splattered the same colors I used for blending  and the Rocky Slope (Urban Raincoat) on a white cardbase.

ink3ef674c9fd176649c89f9051e814eea51265cffdec397d743062752c782d724e2b33ef674c9fd176649c89f9051e814eea51265cffdec397d743062752c782d724e2b3-3-3940524

I foam mounted the ink blended piece with the silver frame on the cardbase. The letters were cut using Adore Alpha die set four times from white cardstock and stacked all together. I arranged the little florals around the letters and glued them as shown in the picture.

The sentiment “are special” is from Blooming Bouquet stamp set. I stamped it in Rocky Slope (Urban Raincoat) on the “U”. I finished off the card by adding some pink Crystals.

I want to share one more card I made for the Holiday Release in September, as it shows the beautiful color of the Coral Reef (Heartbeat) !!! It is definitely my favorite color from the new ink pads! The ink blending in the background and the base color of the main images are created using Coral Reef.
