FOR KIDS
As always you may enter any birthday themed projects into our gallery if you don’t want to take the Toppings option! I needed a birthday card for a little girl, so it was a great Toppings option for me :)!
For my DT card I used A Present (30-573) stamp and A Present Cut Out (51-544) by Penny Black.
I stamped the cute bear and the huge gift in Antique Linen DI on Bristol Smooth paper. I did some no line coloring using Zig brush markers and die cut the image. I added the white dots on the pink ribbon and on the eyes and the nose of the bear to add highlights.
The background was ink blended directly on the square cardbase in blue DIs. I splattered white opaque ink. After the background was dry I foam mounted a front window panel on it which was cut using one of the Stitched Circles dies (51-551). I then added the bear and gift image on it.
The dies for the sentiment is included in A Present Cut Out (51-544) I cut it from an ink blended cardstock in purple and blue DIs, and from some white cardstock, stacked them together and adhered on the card.
It was an easy and relatively quick made card.
