Hello and Welcome to Pinkfresh Studio and Altenew CELEBRATE Collaboration Blog Hop!

You’ve arrived here from my amazingly talented team mate Natasha Valkovskaya’s blog, if you’re following the blog hop order. In case you’re lost on the way or want to start over, please hop over to Pinkfresh Studio blog!

Today I’m so thrilled to be part of this special Collaboration blog hop of Pinkfresh Studio and Altenew as a design team member of Pinkfresh Studio! Two gorgeous floral stamp sets with coordinating dies and beautiful paper and ephemera packs are debuting today! I’m sure you WILL love them!!!

I’ve made three cards using the new floral stamps. Let’s take a look !

My first card is showcasing the Celebrate Today stamp and die set. I had a blast watercoloring the image and the background using Pinkfresh Studio Liquid watercolors 🙂 !

ct-1-2

I started off by stamping the Celebrate Today in Lemon Whip on Canson watercolor paper to do no line watercoloring. I colored the image using Pinkfresh Studio Liquid watercolors. I built up the layers on each petal to show the depth and highlights. After done with coloring I cut the image using the coordinating die and set it aside.

ct-6-2

To create the watercolored background I white heat embossed the image several times on a watercolor paper panel which is sized for a slimline card. I did loose watercolor wash on it in Bubble Gum, Key Lime and Sunshine of Pinkfresh Studio Liquid watercolors.

After the panel was dry I cut it using a Slim Stitched Rectangle die. I heat embossed “celebrate” in Liquid Platinum on the background panel, stamped the small sentiment in Regal Kiss and foam mounted the panel on a white slimline cardbase. I placed the Celebrate Today image onto the card using foam tape and scattered some clear iridescent sequins to finish off the card.

The next pair of cards are featuring the Celebrate Us stamp and die set . I also used the Chevron background stamp with pop out elements.

cu-all-1-2

I started off by stamping the modern layered floral image of Celebrate Us set. the pink flower was stamped in Ballet Slippers and Candy Violet and the blue one in Sky Blue and Storm. For the leaves I used Misty Coast. To add more depth I sponged Rocky Slope on the base of the stamp for the leaves and stamped it again. The outline was gold heat embossed. I cut the flowers using the coordinating die and set them aside.

I then pulled out the Chevron background cling stamp, one of the ingenious pop-out stamp series. I stamped each chevron pattern in Lemon Whip, Sky Blue, Ballet Slipper and Misty Coast on a white cardstock panel and cut the bottom part along the last chevron pattern.

cu-2-4-2

I foam mounted the chevron panel on a pale pink cardbase and added the pink flower on it using some foam tape.

The “thankful” die is also included in the Celebrate Us coordinating die set. I cut it three times from some heavyweight white cardstock, stacked them together and adhered it on the cardbase. “for you” was then stamped in Metropolis ink.

I finished off the card with three white and soft pink enamel dots from My Favorite Story and Home for the Holidays collection.

To stamp the Chevron background for this card I used Soft Lilac instead of Misty Coast. The die cut sentiment was cut from some gold foil cardstock and I stamped the small sentiment in Storm. To add more golden accent to the card I cut very thin strips from the same gold foil cardstock I used for the sentiment and adhered it on the purple chevron pattern. One light purple and two light blue enamel dots from Just a Little Lovely and Home for the Holidays Collection were my finishing touch for this card!

That was my cards for today’s hop! I hope I was able to inspire you with my cards !
