Hello crafty friends!

It’s Seize the Birthday Thursday today! The new Toppings Option was chosen by our lovely leader Nancy – She wants for us to do some Watercoloring for our projects!

I watercolored a beautiful floral border digital stamp by Ales Syberia, called Spring Frame.

I printed the image sized to A2 on Canson watercolor paper. I colored the floral frame using Mijello Mission Gold watercolor. I colored the flowers in light pastel colors and did a little bit of shading keeping my coloring quite simple.

The sentiment was created by die cutting from some patterned paper in a watercolored look using Many Sentiments die set by The Ton. I cut it also from some heavyweight white cardstock to raise the sentiment for dimension.

I trimmed down the colored panel a tiny bit and mounted it on a dark red cardbase. To add some sparkle I covered the sentiment with a clear glitter pen and added yellow Stickles to the center of the flowers. I then finished off the card with some clear iridescent sequins.

That’s it from me! Now it’s your turn to play along! Please stop by Seize the Birthday blog for more inspiration from my amazing team mates and our surprise party guest  Jo from Just a Dotty Pudding !

Thank you so much for visiting my blog! Wishing you all a peaceful day!

Hugs,

TaeEun

  3. Beautiful card, your watercolouring is so soft and pretty TaeEun, next time I buy a printer I must make sure it can take heavier paper so I can print gorgeous images like these. Cathy x
