Hello everyone! It’s NOVEMBER! It’s been almost a year since we’re living in these challenging times. I am so thankful that my family is healthy. Hope you’re all doing well !

It’s time for a new challenge at The Flower Challenge! The theme for this month is “Use a Sentiment” ! Easy Peasy, right πŸ™‚ ?!

I have made a floral card in Fall colors using Rise & Shine brushstroke cling stamp (40-749) by Penny Black. I’m not good at using the brushstroke stamps. I adore the projects other crafters are making using them, but I always struggle in stamping the image as I wanted. I tried it again and there was no surprise. I hope I can do it someday πŸ™‚ !

I started off by stamping the flower on a piece of watercolor paper using Tombow dual brush markers in various green, yellow, orange, red and brown colors. For a more clear definition I stamped the flower again in Wild Honey DI and the leaves and the stem in Crushed Olive DI. I fussy cut the image and set it aside.

I wanted a subtle background, so I stamped the Rise & Shine image on a white panel two times in Morning Frost (Altenew) and ink blended Wild Honey DI after masking the border. I splattered clear water on the panel and dabbed it off.

The sentiment is from Blooming Sentiments (30-703) set. I stamped it on the background panel in black and adhered the panel on a white cardbase. I foam mounted the colored flower and scattered some clear sequins to finish off the card.

Hope you like my card πŸ™‚ .
